Triangle Free Press invites you to our first monthly Local News Meetup. Bring a local news article or event that impacted you and raised questions. We’ll meet together and talk about our neighborhoods, our cities, and what needs changing. These meetups are for writers, readers, and neighbors alike.

What do you want to see from your local journalism? Where are the gaps, and can you contribute to the effort? In this first meetup, we invite you share your thoughts and visions. Together we will discuss and consider how to take action.

TFP will also present our vision for what these meetups can be and ask attendees for input. Ultimately, we aim to build an organized, system-challenging newspaper.
