The world tells us we have to stop playing pretend when we grow up. As trans folks, we know that the world tells us many things that aren’t true. At this T4TCC social, come explore the art form of Live Action Role Playing, or simply put, playing pretend with a bit more structure. If you have heard of LARP before, you probably think of hitting people with swords in the woods. However, the world of LARP is much vaster, with games exploring almost every theme and genre you can think of (and also much of the scene is extremely queer) Come join Kit Hill, a local writer and runner of short easy to pick and play larps and member of the T4T community, as they run Behind the Magic. Come play a group of incompetent fantasy adventurers as they try and save the world, all while their bard captures all their confessionals and drama for reality magical TV. Thurs.
