political prisoner & prison rebel letter writing! come hang and write letters to show support to our comrades inside. our mailing list includes long term political prisoners celebrating birthdays, movement prisoners that could use some support (prairieland, 2020 uprising, stop cop city, and more), and the triangle abc war chest recipients. doing time is long and arduous and dehumanizing, and writing mail is a great way to show solidarity and help folks inside feel held and not forgotten as the system tries to disappear them. no experience necessary, we have instructions and folks available to help write mail so don’t be intimidated! this is a chill fun gathering meant to foster connection. see you sunday!

Triangle ABC is an autonomous chapter of the Anarchist Black Cross that is based in Durham, NC. This chapter carries on the ABC tradition of organizing for the freedom of political prisoners/POW, supporting revolutionary movements in the struggle for liberation from all forms of oppression consolidated within the state, and fostering resistance against state repression of revolutionary movement. These goals are realized through materially supporting political prisoners and POW’s commissary via a war chest program, hosting monthly letter writing events to foster connection and solidarity between the people and our political prisoners, and organizing popular education to help strengthen our movements from repression and counterinsurgency.
