Black August Anti-Repression Panel and Q&A
August 27 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Join Operation Stop CPS for a community teach-in during Black August focused on political education and collective resistance. We’ll discuss the history and significance of Black August, including its roots in the struggles of Black political prisoners and freedom fighters.
We’ll also hear from a panel discussing state repression, the tactics used to target organizers and movements, and the connections between struggles across different movements. We’ll also highlight the creativity, resilience, and resourcefulness organizers have used to fight back, build solidarity, and continue organizing in the face of repression.
Food will be provided.
